Our regular treks last up to 3 hours... but is that just not long enough for you?!
Great news! For 2017, we are introducing DIY Day Rides. Throughout the year, Brendon Manor organise Day Rides on certain dates, but we understand that these are not always convenient for you.
If you have a group of 4 or more friends or family and want to make a day of it on beautiful Exmoor, we are now able to help you out.
Our day rides are suitable for riders only, as because of the distance they cover, some of the terrain and challenges are only suitable for those with a lot of riding experience. For beginners and intermediates, our regular treks are just as fun, without pushing you too much out of your comfort zone.
We are able to offer 2 day rides.
Pub Ride
This involves approx 4 hours in the saddle, with up to a 1 hour break at the Lorna Doone Inn at Malmsmead. The price includes a lunch at the pub, although all alcoholic drinks have to be paid for. Price per person: £85.00
Day Ride
This involves approx 5 hours in the saddle, with up to a 1 hour break for a packed lunch (to be supplied by the customer) at a scenic spot along route. Price per person: £100.00
Both treks include full horse and equipment hire, insurance and being escorted by at least 1 of our guides for the entire time.
Prices are based on groups of 4+, our maximum number depends on the number of suitable horses we have, so it’s helpful at the time of booking for you to have weights and heights of all intended riders.
For groups of less than 4, there will be a surcharge on the final price. A deposit will be required on all day rides at the time of booking.
Our day rides are subject to availability on selected days of the year excluding Bank Holiday Weekends, please contact us for full details. For day rides between April and October it is recommended you book as much in advance as possible, with booking required at least 14 days prior to the date of the intended ride.
